Hickory was purchased from the Diamond Mcnabb ranch in Wyoming in 2011 and brought to Poplar Ridge Ranch. Hickory was one of the horses I developed through the apprenticeship and journeyman levels of Ken Mcnabb’s program. He is an athletic, kind horse and I have used him as my own mount for clinics, demos and personal development.
In June, 2019, he was sold and is being used for working cattle.
